Payday 3 Update 6 Is Fantastic. But Weird
Ah, I'm dying, but the buzz that a discovery like that has the potential to stir up in the community is immense, and that's not even the best part since I first saw that note. The thought that came to mind was the possibility of the note updating one day to show the full date to tease the weapons release, which frankly would just be so cool.
New lmg coming soon
This week's blog post was actually about the LMG 2, and we now know that it'll be called the Bliss bror, mx63, which translates from Swedish to the lead sprayer.
Dlc 2 is the next update?
The blog post also confirms that the LMG will be the free weapon released alongside the Boys in Blue DLC, and given that the LMG is now displayed in the game.
I really don't think that it will come any later than the next update, so perhaps Boys in Blue will be the next update. That's what I initially speculated back at the start of April. If you ask me, looking at what we've seen until now. I'd say that the next update will likely be 1.1.3, which could consist of some of the initial focus points from operation medic bag like quick play mask of the week and some social features like merging parties postmatch or the communication wheel improvements before the next update is 1.2, with the Boys in Blue DLC, but of course I've also voiced my concerns about Boys in Blue launching too soon.
I guess only time will tell.
Closing thoughts
All in all, update 6, despite some issues with the actual patch notes themselves, is a really good addition to the game. It's things like the LMG and the Touch the Sky safe room, as well as the fun new animations, that remind me that there are a lot of genuinely creative and talented people on the Payday 3 boat over at Starb.
